Sustainability Policies at Pomona College The Pomona College Board of Trustees ratified the college's environmental policy, which suggests a mode of operation for the College and outlines a framework under which the policy might be implemented. The Green Building Standards came directly out of this policy. EQC and the Environmental Affairs Commissioner come from ASPC policy. Pomona College Environmental Policy EQC and the Environmental Affairs Commissioner are stipulated by the ASPC bylaws and constitution Green Building Standards Policy Implementation The committee briefly mentioned at the end of the environmental policy has been in flux for a number of years, but is the Environmental Policy Implementation Committee (EPIC). This committee of administration, faculty, staff, and students, work to study the feasibility and implementation of sustainability projects on campus. The structure of the committee, its responsibilities, and its relationship to EQC are currently in discussion (as of Spring 2006). More information will be posted once these discussions reach a conclusion.
